How do you beat the boss?

cool

That long intro really loses something when you play without sound.
Consider having options to deal with people who don't want sound on for any reason.

Including:
Don't want to have sound on at work, even if you're on your break.
Don't want sound on at home, because someone is on the phone, or sleeping.

Beyond that:
Movement was fairly smooth, but the jumping on and off of moving platforms was complicated by the relatively weak jump (compared to the height / distance needed.)

Hard to hit an exact tile when jumping.
(Like the tiles surrounded by spikes you need to land on.)

Hard to jump up and catch a moving platform without moving off the 1 tile between spikes.

Basically: just making the game hard to master doesn't make the game good.
Use something besides incredibly low odds of first time success to give your game quality.

Graphics were pretty good, and the characters were original, but familiar seeming.
Well done there.

I liked that you thought to make most of the characters specialists, with 1 generalist.

I also liked that you allowed for character switching.

Another down side was that all the enemies took 2 shots to take out at the start, but you had an unreasonably long reload time. (Slower than a real shotgun, while the baddies can take a point blank discharge and keep coming.)

On the plus side: the baddies could also shoot back (when armed) and also they would respond to being attacked, not just run their patrol route.

fun and amazing

This game is probably my most favorite game
