You only messed up once. When Pico was getting his face stomped on he did have the black cover on him, (from getting his haircut) instead he had his greens hirt on but he was still tied up. Then the next scene he had the black cover on again. Other then that it was good =P
Classic reference to ol' NG.
-animation, other than in the new video format, looked retro like El-Donko stated
-music was great, since there were no sound effects or voices, it flowed with the toon
