I played through it, and the ending blew my mind. What a message in such a simple game. Wonderful.

Yeah... the ending really took me for a loop. It felt, to me, like the game actually had a message to tell. Rather than passing itself off as a parody, it was actually just accepting what it was destined to be. A (supposedly) pretentious game.
