Reviews for "Little Locations"

This is extremely difficult, but not so hard that you can't beat in 30-60 minutes. I thought the controls were spot-on. This game reminds me a lot of Megaman for the NES. (Some of those platform levels were near impossible!)

Although this was extremely challenging, it was also very fun and addictive. I couldn't bring myself to walk away from my computer until I got all those God forsaken orbs!
The graphics are crisp and simple which I think works perfect for a game such as this. However, I have to agree with previous posters in that It needs a soundtrack.

All-in-all, I hope you make a sequel. Wish I would've gotten the secret medal, but oh wells.

This game is all about jumping. If you dislike challenging jumps, then this is not the game for you. I had 23 spheres but fell into a new world. when I returned to the original world, I only had 22. I think it is a bug. You should fix it. I did end up earning the first and third medal.

Fixed the bug.

Tough gane! after beating i pretty much jumped into the air in joy =D

To sum this this game up in one word? Creative. When i first started playing, I didnt really know what to do for a second, so when i fell i thought i died...but then i found out it lead to other locations, and i love that idea. The game itself is perfect. Not putting music in it gave me that gusty feeling..The only issue i had with it is the controls, they were a bit, as said below.."Slippery". But i still love this game.

This is a great retro game! Especially for being made under 48hrs.
My only reason for not having a 5/5 is that there aren't any tunes!
This would be a perfect game if it had a great chiptune soundtrack backing it up.
And what's up with gamers nowadays complaining that a game is too hard, or that the
controls are "slippery"? I had no issues collecting all of the orbs, it just took a little perseverance. Sounds like excuses for not being skilled enough to conquer
the game to me...

NoLanLabs responds:

I spent about one of the 48 hours attempting and failing to throw together a soundtrack, before deciding any music I made would just ruin it. I'll need to find some good music for the sequel.
