Reviews for "Necrorun 2.0"

I just love "death" games. Hate the stupid basic hero thing "good allways wins and.. blaa blaa" Good game even it is bit simple

its fun, but it gets boring quickly. fix metals

medals dont work

excellent game like the first, but with even more stuff thrown in!
I do however have to take off half a star for something that would've been otherwise awesome:
you have 3 different stages (which I'm assuming are easy, medium and hard in nature) however unless you actually hit the stages button, you might never know about them, or the archers, or winged knights (except in tips) or caves or -any- of that.

if I might make a suggestion: after several minutes (say somewhere between 5-8) if your still on stage 1, it switches to 2, and then after more minutes from 2 to 3. or if not that then at least something to say 'hey, you unlocked a new stage, click on stages to check it out' or it automatically switches to the next stage when hit restart once you have a later one unlocked... that would work to...

otherwise, a very solid game.

I'll make more clear on the future that are new stages.

I like to keep them separated because they vary a lot, and some people may like to play ones more than the others. And getting some in game medals can be easier on previous stages (like the black plague one ).

Lastly and more importantly, since you can play necrorun on mobile, usually if you are in a bumpy bus or something playing with the accelerometer is not possible, so you need the first 2 stages where flying is not mandatory : )

First off, I haven't played the first game. Thus I receive the privilege of having an unbiased opinion about the series, but I might lose some context about what I am playing.

Interesting take on the whole fixed side-scroller beat 'em up. Good pixel art with fantastic animations. However, the gameplay here is pretty stale. All that you're really doing is stabbing things to get lifeless shards so that you can by powers to get more lifeless shards, to get more powers...and so on. There's nothing that is really keeping me playing, nothing compelling about the game. I found myself bored in under 5 minutes after finishing the tutorial. The medals will add a little to this, but not much...a game should be good without achievements. It might help if I had some sort of back story to go with, or i knew the reasons specifically why it mattered that the mortals were trying to achieve immortality (this could possibly be a link to the last game that I have missed because I haven't played it, but even then a recap might be nice), but right now the light humor of "Challenge accepted!" doesn't quite cut it was a reason to play.

Still. Fantastic art.

If we work on a next expansion to Necrorun, my wish would be to add a last level with a lot of bosses you have to defeat, to eventually reach an ending on the story.

However, the game will always be about the challenge. About trying to get the maximum combo and hi-score you can.
