I would like to start off by saying I love these sort of games so straight away high points!
I never have played Motherload but it also is like an iphone game I Dig It (maybe also inspired by Motherload)
The graphics and music are perfect and the ore has a minecraft look about it.

Or maybe find dangers underground, or maybe the need to accomplish or defeat something in order to get better stuff, not being limited to whats in the shop
Maybe an underground city with better stuff... dwarves..
