Catchy music, nice enough graphics, my only real complaint is that there's no learning curve it just throws you into the game without ramping the difficulty up.

Maybe during atari era making simple games was enough but we on 2012.
Getting high score is not a enough motivation to continue making a game.
During this time making a simple game like this is considered lazy.
Add upgrade system
Racing
Different looking stages
Hell make a mario kart clone that would be fun using items too.
