Society requires myth, it makes for a healthy society and holidays shouldn't be sugar coated otherwise you create a generation of weak brats with no tolerance for disapointment or unpleasentness. Those two things by themselves make up a good 30-40% of life.

This toon rocks!! Everything is so true - especially love when the kid bites into the matzah and bursts into tears. And I definitely don't think this is about religion at all, it's about tradition and how it looks when we take a step back and look at it from an outsider's perspective.
@Blue - Passover IS 8 days so you definitely don't 'know the truth'. Clearly your Passover holiday differs greatly from the Jewish one, or else you should probably keep studying!
I have studied and even celebrated passover before haha it is nothing like that. The calender is wrong passover only happens one day. And you are only supposed to eat food without leaven, for example yeast or baking soda. It is not as bad the animator makes it out to be. Would be funny if i hadn't known the truth so ill be generous.
