Not a bad game by any means but rather lacking; the visuals are very basic, which while being a style I personally enjoy with games, for something like this it would be nice to see a little variation rather than just plain solid blocks of colour.
The sound was ok but there really wasn't much of it, the simple beeps together with basic visuals at first made me think that maybe this would be one of those random screamer games.
I would suggest putting a little more effort into the visuals and making the game longer instead of just a single level, perhaps some form of maze to navigate or blocks that regenerate after a certain period of time, use some imagination and make the game more original than the thousand copies of this formula. The "Escape" idea is very nice and I feel it can be expanded on quite a bit with a little thought.
Overall I give this game a 2/5 due to it being a good premise but very minimal, this alone would work great as a preloader to a movie or other game but to post this as a stand-alone game it really should have more content.

Very good points. Visuals are my weakest area; the ball is the only true game sprite here, as the engine itself is drawing the block shapes for me. It is definitely an area I am trying to improve.
