Decent but got to level 18, just missed the gap and could no longer be bothered.

Not a great game, but better than average. Here we go:
My reviews start at 2.5 stars, net neutral. I then raise and lower by content.
Controls: Work well, but then again, these controls worked well in 1999. Trajectory, toss, button, slab, boom. Simple, been done, could've tried some innovation, like maybe different grenades, or different soldiers having different abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, I dunno. Nothing new, nothing bad, Neutral.
Addendum: I remembered a glitch where I would tell them to throw a grenade, they'd make the throwing motion, and no grenade was flung. Very annoying. Also, why was 'reset level' not given a shortcut key? Usually, it's the 'r' key. Use that next time.
CONTROLS: -0.5 (minor annoyance)
Plot: Man... ok, I duess you just took the 4chan method of slamming things together at random, putting zombie pirates against soldiers on an Indiana Jones trap island filled with portals and floating stars. You win. I can get behind that, but really? Not even a drawing and heavy metal montage at the end or anything? Pure lazy there, and that cost ya two whole stars with me.
PLOT: -2 (Horrible)
Graphics: Everything sparkles nicely, but it's all retooled angry birds and clip art and stuff. Interesting style, nice composure, but it's all so random that this touch means very little.
GRAPHICS: +2 (decent)
SOUND: One looping track that feels terribly generic. However, it wasn't terribly annoying, and I DID like the little sounds the pirates made when a grenade landed at their feet.
SOUND: +1 (Not bad)
Originality: Never blown up zombie pirates with grenades before, but I HAVE played Angry Birds. Neutral, my friend.
ORIGINALITY: +/-0 (Neutral)
Last note, did the stars do nothing at all? They seemed very, very pointless. Also, the game is short, like, far shorter than games of this genre should normally strive to be. Correct these issues next time. Normally, nOuk, I would dock you a star for these issues as well, but as it's your first effort, I'm inclined not to do so.
For a first attempt, 3 stars. Keep on improving, nOuk, and I look forward to your second game.
