Same for me, got this grey thing too
i experienced the same problem as the guy before
but i use firefox, and there's still this grey box
I am on google chrome. All I can get is a greyish blue screen just after clicking 'play now'. I don't know if it's a problem on my end or not. Would have liked to play the game. Oh well.
