me wanna hug pinkie.
Great animation, one of the most fluid, show-accurate MLP animations I've seen. Particularly like the tension in the stretching present scene. Pinkie is great for animation tests, simply because she's the most "bendy looney tunes" character on the show, you can do pretty much anything and it'll still look in-line in the show.
Really looking forward to the .fla rig, will be great to see the animation structure, and there are good odds that I'll make use of it and expand it into other characters.

Glad you liked it! The .FLA will be released here in about three-four weeks. It'll include a 3Q, front, back, side, worm's eye, and bird's eye puppet of Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, & Rainbow Dash.

Yuppers! It was uploaded to my deviantART and to YouTube back in September of last year. EqD also featured then as well. (And no worries - my next animation has an awesome Pinkie Pie moment.)
The animation was really good, but it seems unfinished without a reaction from Pinky Pie. Like, she could get up, see the contents of the 'present' and faint, or if you had a voice actor, she could scream, or say something?

All very good points! However - this animation was originally intended to just be experimental - to teach me how to use flash puppets. It wasn't until after the majority of it was done that I was advised to add a little more and turn it into a "short". Thus - no solid story.
I'm making up for that with my next animation - "Double Rainboom". It's being approached as a story right out of the gate - with dialogue, shot variation, more characters, etc.
