Reviews for "Boy Buffet!: MarioTest"

YOU WANT SUGGESTIONS???

I'LL GIVE YOU A SUGGESTION:
1- Put some music in it. (A nice tune like the first level from super Mario Bros 1)
2- Make the boss more life-like. Your main character looks good so how hard could it be?
3-Same goes with enemies. (they look like they are running around in there underpants)
4- Don't let the main character slip so much. So he can fall over and over again in those pits. (GODAMN)
5- One word: MEGAMAN.
That's all I think I gave it a onest review, time for a beer. Or blam anather Flash. (HAHAHA!)

cakemeat responds:

Not suggestions for this.. This game is done. And i didnt do the actual priest art. that is/was garys job.

The slippery gameplay is awsome.. just try harder :)

as for megaman. i could very well recreate it in its entirety.

Way Too Easy

It's O.K but you need to...
1. Make the game longer.
2. Make the game more challenging.
3. Include sounds in the game.

Keep at it.

cakemeat responds:

YOU ARE AN IDIOT.. YOU SHOLD HAVE READ THE DESCRIPTION> this is not a full game.. and it wont have sounds.. AND DONT YOU DARE TELL ME TO "KEEP AT IT" why dont you go keep at it? you fucking punk!

needs alot of things

controls are just like mario and the physics are good and everything else, but the animation is terrible, the framrate suffers unless your on a better computer, and things just look ugly, along with the fact there is no sound whatsoever, and like i tell everyone else, don't submit incomplete shit, nothing is stupider than making amatuer movies, or games, and on top of that HALF ASSING IT

cakemeat responds:

Sorry this WAS half assed. i can admit that. Too bad im done with this project.

Not a terrible idea here, funny even, however this second version is still very rough around the edges. The movement was mostly fine, maybe a little sensitive and unpolished, but it definitely worked. The grab mechanic was interesting, much better than just bumping into things to pick them up. The cops were also fixed in this version so that they actually damage you when you bump into them, this ended up being neutralized by the fact that they still damage you when you jump on their heads...

Overall, good game, but still needs quite a bit of work. Also you don't need to beat the boss to finish, and it will send you back to level three when you beat the game.

With the additional boss level, its naturally better than the first iteration. I still dislike the source material and think this had potential otherwise.
