Everthing Twisted said, but in the complete opposite way. I totally get everything going on here. Feel like i'm watching a WAY better version of Mega Man Legends. It's like all the best videogame cutscenes ever made put together into one mini series but without having to play through hours of EXP farming.
The artwork is grunge-esque in comparison to a lot of MMO RPG parodies and dramas that I've seen. It's like, it looks traditional, but you've added a "character" to the artwork that makes it so unique not that it LOOKS like a video game, but, because it's so enthralling, you BELIEVE it's a video game. I remember shows that tried to capture humor and drama of NPC and RT players. One called "REBOOT" and another called "DOT.HACK". You've found a middle ground with TOME.
Every technique you've used for this episode, set it to par and only go up from here. This episode was entertaining. All the characters were unique. Music, artwork, and scenes were crafted to replicate actual gaming and the gaming community, almost as if you had done the research or just played way to many video games. This series is beast. Not because it's about gaming. But, because you took a fictional concept and deepened it with an original plot and subtext. And, you did it without having to make a single blatant pun or joke to any current pop culture of gaming, thus, keeping it from breaking the forth wall. A "Screw this, i'm gonna go play halo" or "You just got Shepard-ed" referenced would have ruined this.

Too many mages, not enough weapon users
This is an excellent series, even if only by the length of animation and good story. I love the originality of all the characters, and I especially like Nylocke. I was a little concerned at the beginning of this episode because it seems Saturndiva and Whyti use a lot of the same gestures--those two just don't seem different enough.
I would like it if you toned down the language a bit. I like to pass on good animation to my family, but there's just a little too much language for me to do so here.
Whatever the case, this is some awesome work. Good job, and thank you. :D
