Reviews for Desert Fighter

I was expecting...something better. But, the reviews aren't about our expectations, just what we actually found.

For what it is, however, it isn't too bad. It isn't anything too new or innovative either. The shooting mechanics are fluid and well aimed, while the enemies don't take long to go down. Fortunately there's enough of them that numbers become a factor. On the downside of that, it also makes it strange when you can just ram them and collect the numerous power-ups to ensure victory instead of bothering about the shooting at all.

The movement of the vehicles themselves could have been better, but being a death tv experience I suppose there wasn't too much more to be done about it.

The only other thing I can say? Less 80's synth and snares and more 90's bass and guitar.

Thanks for your review - we're glad to hear that you have high expectations for our games - we will try to meet them!

The 'ramming tactics' will often work, but they're a risky approach since you take damage from each collisions and have to watch your healthbar closely if you don't want to loose the level. But played carefully, ramming is a viable tactic.

We'll never agree on the music, though. To us It's just perfect for this kind of game :)

Nice artwork and story. But as for the gameplay it got repetitive really quick and the physics and animations were not so good. i would suggest working on that.

Great that you enjoyed it. The upgrade system is a bit basic, maybe it should branch more and provide more options.
