Reviews for "DuckLife 4"

I brokes it.

Last time I played I got to losing the first tournament, then it started showing me all sort of non related screens. Whenever I start up the game now I just get a "choose a minigame" screen, and I can't click anything.

Just to let you know that. I hope it's usefull. I didn't get enough playtime in to write a real review, so I'm just rating as close to the current average as possible.

I like this series. But man.... these levels take WAY too long to build. And you want us to do multiple ducks? Screw that.

I like the other games better, I dislike this one and treasure hunt but this is okay..

There's a lot more use for money in this game...unfortunately, it is also much harder to amass this time around! You get very little out of training, and only the tournament races (which don't seem to give you any cash) are repeatable, despite the larger store stock and costly eggs.

Training all these ducks also feels much slower than past games. The way the skills are spread out by area that you must win tournaments to progress through rather than being available as training normally is also rather strange, and detracts from the party-style of duck raising a bit.

Both of the starter hairstyles in the first area give a different hairstyle when bought.

Not a bad game, but a bit of a grind at times. There's no denying that 3 and 4 made definite improvements in some ways, particularly with pretty graphics and trying new things, but overall I think the first two games are probably a bit more fun. This is actually the first game in the series I got tired enough of playing that I didn't finish in one sitting, and not just because it's a little longer.

I like this concept, and I liked the last one. (Or maybe the 2nd) but this one is just way too repetitive and slow. The mini-game training sessions are just not nearly fun enough to keep my interest to train three ducks enough to win a level. And when I do, then I have to start all over with three more mini-games that are just as slow. This game is trying to be way more than it is, and it suffers because of this.
