About as good as the games it's based on! I'm every last bit as interested in this.
Unfortunately, that doesn't speak well for the game. People who enjoy shooting things and calling each other "Fag" will probably have a ball with it, and it's neither poorly designed nor poorly implemented. The style isn't my cup of tea, but it's solidly built and fans of the genre will probably enjoy.
I'm at a loss as to what you could do to broaden your audience with this. Visuals are well-done, but not outsanding. Gameplay is formulaic, but not poorly implemented. As I stated before, this really is everything the games it is based on are, down to being completely forgettable.
On Mac it works well not exactly super good but was fun for a while.
Alright, for starters I get the whole parody thing. At first the conceptual design was funny, but the narrative gets rather repetitive quite quickly. Moving on, the control scheme was a little too clunky for my tasting, and the character seems to keep sliding in the direction of the arrow keys a few seconds after the key has been released. Unfortunately this caused the game to be less fun for me as it prevented me from getting passed the first level. All in all, great artwork, decent voice overs, less than "acceptable" controls. 3/5
