Awesome game! Way better than the original!
I might be giving it a bit too much in other peoples opinions, but I genuinely enjoyed this game. I like the idea of "reloading" a classic and duck hunt seems to be one of those games that need a bit of tweaking from modern day game formulae's.
On a side note, did you by any chance get the idea from a show "Drawn Together?" They did an episode where a character gets a taste for firearms and goes on a hunt which ends in him using bigger weapons with a Duck Hunt theme. If so, I salute you.
