Your animation has a lot of great face movement (eyes, mouth eyebrows). The way safety gnome whens he jumps ontop of the stage was very tremendous.
One thing you could improve on his having more body movement between the your main characters to add more 'life' to the animation.
The semi transparent gradients as the top layer of the animation add a nice feel and emotion to the stage. Very well done.
Thanks bro, my next step I really want to improve is to link the movements together, it's still REALLY a to b at the moment. As for the filter above it, I was really happy with it in this toon, glad people appreciate it :)

Great job, the animation was great, the art was also very well done, although I would have liked it if the animation blended better with the backgrounds and you could have put more effort in drawing the robber.
Besides that, it was a great and original way to give such tips and it is actually helpful too, I would have never thought about a fake extra wallet, which would be handy for women, as they have a purse to put it into.
Anyways, great job, the robber was the main flaw, he didn't have very much to do with the animation and could have been more involved, if he was, you would have earned a half star more, probably, at least from me.
The project was about crime prevention in Leeds, so I had to have some sort of threat to trigger the gnome, it wouldn't have as much of an impact if she was just walking along a merry road, he wasn't really my biggest focus in this and I agree his animation is kinda crappy compared to the gnome, as I say, I just needed something to set up the mood :)

Did the gnome steal her wallet ? haha, well the animation was simple and fairly well done. I think it could have been more exagerated, it worked but was basic solid posing. Could used some more squash and squish, but the poses read well anyways. Good shading, made the piece visually apeasing, and the textured images ie. the wallet were nice. A lil laggy but it dont matter. not that entertaining tho no offense. Good work regardless I guess!
Thanks man, wish I had longer to expand on some of it, I agree fully about the squash and stretch and what not, as for the lag, the contest said that videos should be uploaded to youtube, so the swf version really wasn't my top priority at the time. Can I just say that that was wonderful? It was well animated, and the voice acting was good. I loved how the gnome just randomly pops in and pops out again, and stealing her wallet is a wonderful touch of ironic comedy which really adds to the video! The only thing i could have said would have made the video better would be if the bird wasn't an actual picture so that it would fit in with the scene better. Very well done!
