This game has some serious balance issues. Primarily regarding the leveling. It really shouldn't get harder as you continue unless the player has advanced in skill...this just ramps up difficulty regardless of play skill/level. At some point you cant even learn to do better as you are overwhelmed and your survivors end up dead and you cant even search anymore. At that point it becomes pointless.
Personally I'm not a fan of this type of gallery style shooting. It's very restrictive and doesn't allow for much in the way of variety.
I don't know, it seems almost like an altered version of The Last Stand, and not really even a good one.
Seems pretty much impossible to lose, considering each zombie takes out about 2% of the barricade, and they can be easily sprayed with just about anything automatic. It needs to be a little harder, the style needs to be a bit different from The Last Stand, and then I might be able to give a higher rating.
Beautiful execution of a classic theme.
The game feels very polished and it kept me wanting more.
That being said, it felt short and the ending was sudden. I would have liked it more if the search parties found news or information that helps lead up to the ending.
A few minor complaints:
Weapons with high recoil would make me move my cursor down to compensate for this, which would result in sometimes leaving the gameplay area.
After getting automatic weapons there really weren't any " Oh shit! " moments left, nor were there any " Oh Shit " enemies.
Muzzle flash could have been a bit stronger on some weapons, but that's personal preference.
Excellent job overall.
reminds me of the last stand, in terms of the resource screen and search screen but i guess how else could you chang eit up yknow? nothing wrong with it cant reinvent the wheel, solid game overall
