What is the music in this game?
Mmmm, after second boss the game is too frustrating.
I give 3 in a half stars because, it did get a little repetitive after a little while, but still, some of the bosses where unique and kewl and I liked how different types of enemies came, but this isn't a game I can play for long cause I get bored to fast. And one very insignificant complaint is that STUPID zapping thing that comes, I hate that thing, every time it came on the sides of the walls; I was like are you serious this stupid thing is back, it's hard enough to smash all the guys, but half the time I couldn't get them cause I'd know I'd get shocked trying to get the dudes below the electricity and even if I tried and saw there was no electricity for a millisecond and try to get below the zapping thing really quick; I'd get zapped everytime and couldn't get the guys above me too, and then they would steal my money. I mean I love a challenge and all, but make the challenge reasonable for me to try to beat. But overall, I'd play this game again if I had some time to kill.
Well, a lot of things have been said about how this game may feel cheap in gameplay.. Especially with the lightning/electricity that mess you up biggie.. It does give this a certain level of difficulty that is appealing, but it also frustrates us as players.
I'd like to add 2 more things to this which are just as important.
1: Sound effects. This game has great music and graphics.. but I don't feel this game because there are no sound effects. a great deal of gamefeel has been missed out.
2: Usabilty/Conveyance in the intro. You've added a very good short intro about how to play. This is good, but also confusing. I thought I had to push up&down alternately as fast as I could. by the time 3 thieves already stole some treasure I found out that it's up to move the machine up and down for down.. lose the confusion about this.
Fix all 3 of these and you have a very good game that should score high on NG.
