Pretty good - could have been better.
A decent idea executed fairly well. Yes, the major premise, as summarized by the somewhat hackneyed quote at the end, is certainly there, but the film as a whole seems to lack substance. The abruptness of the meeting of the two dragon-things does not allow for much empathy to be built by the viewer, and this, in my opinion, takes away from the story. As well as this, the male's reaction to the female's death was handled is a somewhat underwhelming manner. A blue oval? Really? This made the animation feel incomplete. Also, I hate it when people fade their music out; it feels cheap, like there is no real ending to the track. Nonetheless, it was well animated, with some nice "camerawork".
