Reviews for "Nurny: A Fungus Story"

Bravo Mr. Danny Lacy!

Nurny shall never again, traipse along in his flimsy, little root feet...
But perhaps some of his spores escaped and have landed somewhere kinder.

garbageville responds:

That's a great idea. I might just use it.

Great Storybook style video, deserves a front page

Nurny is one of those characters that grows on you with his naive innocence and friendly demeanor. Establishing a character so well in a matter of minutes is something that defiantly deserves recognition. The narorator was spot on giving the video a storybook feel. The sharp contrast in character design between innocent Nurny and the Bums, Whores, and the Asshole defiantly also help to establish Nurny as a character. The Humor was a bit too dark and dry for me but I can defiantly see that it was executed well. The animation was fluid and the only noticeable problem is that I'm having trouble understanding the Bums, Whores, and the Asshole. It really isnt too bad, but its the only thing keeping the animation from being 'PERFECT'.

--PROS--
*Fluid and impressively done Animation
*Some of the best Character design on Newgrounds
*Well executed humor
*The story has an unmistakable storybook style identity

--CONS--
*The Characters besides Nurny were occasionally difficult to hear or comprehend. I understand this is defiantly part of the character design but if it makes the characters difficult to understand then their voices need to be altered less dramatically.

--RESULTS--
5/5 9/10

garbageville responds:

Thanks so much!

Nurny's heart was gold

great story lmfao

Genius by far!

You sir. That is all.

Quite amusing

The flash was pretty entertaining, although there were problems with how the voice and sounds synced with the character animations.

garbageville responds:

I fixed that! Hopefully that'll change your perception of it. Give it another try. :) Thanks for the comment.
