this game is a squeal to a game that me and my sister has played for many years, the art style with this one is modernized which isn't a bad thing nor a good one. the game play is more complex which powers the brain, some of the designs are a little bit rough such as William and the pixies, other that that the game is pretty much as good as the first one, cant wait to see what comes next in their adventure if it continues.

I played the original William and Sly a few years ago and thought it was amazing. The music, the graphics and even the mushroom collecting were all entertaining and the final battle with the Darkling in the storage room was actually pretty difficult when I first played the game. William and Sly 2 is all that and more. The journal collection gives us some insight as to how William met Sly, as well as a bit more about those pesky gnomes. The pixies were adorable and the special powers (much like the wings in the first game) were really cool. Of course I may be biased since foxes are my favorite animal, but William and Sly 2, as well as its predecessor, are both amazing games. If there is any possibility of a William and Sly 3, I'm looking forward to it. This is a beautiful game and I hope many other people can experience this as well. I completed it to the end, with a full journal and a full stomach, and I can say with 100% certainty that it did not disappoint.
