If you want to kill the kid, stand near him and cast the fireball. For the hat, just kill the spider. For all the chickens, go everywhere you can and kill them, there are some one the secret necklace island too. To kill the spider, use the energy field and stand near him multiple times and walk away before he attacks to slow him down and convert health to mana. Just complete the game to get the first secret badge and get the necklace for the giant by killing enemies to get the teleport spell and go to the east side of the desert and teleport. There are some chicken there, so if you want the chicken badge, kill em'.
