Issues with upgrades and powerups appearance...
I thought this was a good game, though as others pointed out the concept has been done several times. The screaming was really funny and memorable.
However I had a big, big issue with the way the powerups and upgrades were handled.
First of all, it wasn't clear that many of the powerups translated to any discernable improvement in height. The additions were subtle at best, although some upgrades seemed to have more dramatic effects than others.
Also, it did not seem that the final money powerup did anything beyond the second-to-last. There were still the same $25 coins and it seemed that there were the same amount.
My biggest issue (and the reason I put down the game) was the spacing of the powerups in the sky. The only time I saw a green boost powerup, it was accompanied by like 4-5 other powerups. I very rarely saw powerups, to be honest, even after I spent the money to upgrade their "frequency" to max. The frequency mod didn't seem to do anything. And when the powerups did appear they were clustered together.
Finally, I encountered a bug where about two thirds of the upgrades through I stopped hearing sound effects. Only music. So, not hearing Santa scream anymore sucked.
