For whatever reason, sometimes when a room is highlighted, it doesn't switch places with another room. And I can not unhighlight either. Also, sometimes it doesn't register that a room is connected when it clearly is. So completing the game proves rather impossible. I tried reloading the game, but gave up after 5 reloads. But I do like the idea, but it would be awesome if I could finish.

.. by not reading your authors comment. i couldnt figure out why i could go in some rooms and not others... maybe make that clear in teh actual game? but was a good game, i got stuck a few times... but managed it with 1min left... the ending was a bit poor though??
also maybe have it so the last piece, you have to piece together all of the map in a certain way to reach it?? i found the heart was the easiest one to get as i just had to jump down from the platform i got the last key from onto it.

It seems that when you obtain the "Y" piece, you cannot continue as no other piece can connect with it. This poses a problem to completing the game. It's great, but that one problem sticks out in my mind. Maybe give the puzzles some looking into to change the style of the game to move away from Continuity-like gameplay into something different.
P.S. This game gets its inspiration from Continuity. It plays like it because it was inspired by it. Give it a rest. We all know it is like Continuity.

This HAS all be done before. This game is almost just like Continuity despite the (admittably good) music and theme. Not much is different aside from how you obtain the keys and the fact that it all was timed. Even the sprites look similar.
All-in-all this game was pretty decent. But hardly original.
