Reviews for "Myosotis Chapter 1"

Wow...

What an amazing game. I really loved the art style and the dialog, and the small details you included, such as when you click on a painting. A few small problems here and there, but mostly perfect.
The main complaint I have is that there aren't any clues for some of the puzzles. I could be wrong, but the first puzzle was entirely guessing the pattern.
Other than that, though, the game really is excellent. Good job. :)

ImpendingRiot responds:

Thanks I appreciate it! Yeah the first puzzle is probably one of the trickier ones, in hindsight. There IS a clue, it's just very subtle. I'm always experimenting, sometimes things work better than you expect, sometimes they don't.

Thanks for the review :)

This game....

...Is beautiful. It has amazing visuals, a fitting soundtrack and sound effects, a touching story line, and the puzzles are of a medium difficulty. Though, I seemingly cannot get passed the puzzle with the button where you need to make "2 equal 4 to open the door". I know how and what to do, but its just not working for me. Regardless, this is a fantastic game and very well made. I cant wait to see a sequel.

ImpendingRiot responds:

Thanks! You have to time it just right on that puzzle, a little before it's actually on the number.

Wow

Wow, just wow. This was a great game. Really. I for one loved the music. I cannot wait for the sequel(s). This is a good story, and the cliffhanger will definitely keep me on the look out for part two. Keep up the great work.

Love it.

I really loved the song. I also love the puzzles, but there was one that I just got by accident. It was the "two makes four" or something like that. The story was great.

Good but a few problems

I liked the setting of this game and the style looks cool too. I have a few problems, though. I think that the pointer controls are a bit slow and also the puzzles don't have much of a logical process to answer ie What Is The Correct Answer? The answer can be found but it can only be answered through trial and error. If there were puzzles where several different thought processes could be used so lots of people will get the same answer, but they all can use different methods. That would be a cool puzzle game.
