Haters gonna hate

Everyone is judging this as if it were a television production.

You guys gotta understand that this isnt your deal to judge, nor is it your chance at showing everyone how much you know about the "business". Its a review, about how the video was. How the humor was, how the animation stands on its own. And frankly they are great, and if you dont find humor in this. This is obvioiusly not your thing, I would advise not to watch anymore if you dont like the way the animation and humor is done.

You are but a single pebble amongst the bunch. Im sure Kirb tries to appeal to everyone, but sadly sometimes that just doesnt work.

Im sure Kirb appreciates some of the reviews that point out certain things, but he doesnt need the constant nagging of changing the way he does his work. At least for this project.

Its not something he's getting paid for, so I dont see the reason as to why he has go all out and make it a super animation with -enter your reason for being displeased-.

This by no means, is this an episode 2. Kirb managed to squeeze enough time in his schedule to do this little vid for all you people that complained about not knowing the characters and what made them the bad guys.

Why all the hate?

I find it hilarious that one of the main criticisms for this short is that its "unnecessary." Isn't that the point of releasing it as a short and not an actual episode to include a little side story without interrupting the overall series? I thought the humor was definately present, but that's subjective so I won't go into too much detail. And for God's sake, why hate on the voice acting? That's the best damn thing in the movie. The VA's were spot on and they definately knew how to work with the script. Speaking of which, I thought the script introduced the two characters quite well and their lines fit the characters perectly. Now as for animation, I thought it was fine. I definately fit the whole "avatars within a video game" motif and that's really all I could ask for. Lip syncing seems to be getting a lot of hate, but I thought what Kirb did was meant to imitate an actual game, like an RPG, and I thought he did that well.
So, yeah, that's my opinion. But am I biased? Sure. I just rewatched the entire TTA after I saw the rebooted episode 1 (which was great, btw). So, yes, I'm a fan. Keep up the good work, Kirb! Oh, and I loved the BlingBling bit. Classic.

I really don't understand all the hating man, I honestly love this revamp of the good ol' TTA. Maybe its only certain people who can truly enjoy this.

On a side note, were the two random dudes supposed to be Grant and Gront from Smashtasm?

i love these characters! even if they are a little sterotypical, but thats my sense of humor.

will they come in later episodes? love if they will.
