FINISH HIM!

Hahaha this made me laugh :D Nice game but short, but then again i probably would've died if it was longer or got any harder :D

Q: HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THE SEQUEL DID AWAY WITH THE SLOW-MOTION EFFECT?

I actually quite liked the slow motion effect so I'd have to disagree with that but still..

P.S. That fish was very yummy!! ^_^

wintercube responds:

haha, you have no idea how happy i am to hear that some people got a laugh or two out of this! and definitely thank you for answering that question about slomo in the sequel -- it directly effects what i'll be coding this week!

great

was very simple, and very original.
great graphics, ans superb gameplay. please make the tutorials 8-)
as for the slo-mo: it's the one thing (besides storyline) that made this game worth it, so keeeep it! could be improved though: maybe some way of really dodging the shuriken; and disable it when the vertical distance is big (i.e. when you are on the ground and the projectile high up, for instance).
and also, make it longer, cause the game was really short

wintercube responds:

thank you thank you for the feedback. my takeaways: 1) make the tutorials; 2) keep the slo-mo, with improvements; 3) make the game longer. got it!

Amazing

It's a wonderful game and I would really love a 2, but with upgrades and also would be nice a prequel with the ninja cat master and I really like it

wintercube responds:

haha, great ideas. i'll have to brainstorm a bit about that prequel!

So freaking cool!

As a player i dont feel restrained at all but there is still a difficulty to overcome, in short this game is brilliant! Add some sort of upgrades for episode 2 :).

wintercube responds:

thanks for the great feedback! i'll definitely add upgrades for the next one (working on it already)

Not to bad.

The music was good, action is smooth. The fighting aspect is not bad at all.

However the red enemy star bullet time paused actually prevent you from effectively jumping them.

It would help a bit if instead of clicking anywhere to advance the story if you made a click on advance button in the text bubble. I advanced the story before i wanted to because i was still throwing stars like a crazy person.

Good game, just needs some smoothing out.

wintercube responds:

this kind of detailed feedback is very helpful for me to make more and more refined games. thank you.
