Reviews for "Legend of the Void"

Hmmm...

I actually hate these types of games and i could barely stand playing this one, sure the art is great and the plot probably too but the tweening was awful and so was their movements.

But it seems like you putted alot of effort into it and many people likes it so you deserve a 7.

In future games, if you have to tween then ease it.
(this is just what i think and because i animate i notice all the wrong stuff animated in games i cant stand them.)

okay

Too linear! The game mechanics and all that was great, but after a short while i got bored of heading in the only direction possible and stopped playing, so if it opens up later on i take back what i said here.

other then that, potions are far too easy to spam, buy as many potions as possible, and as long as you keep your eye on your characters health bars, and heal often, it seemed impossible for me to lose (i was playing on hard, and was considering turning the difficulty up before i got bored)

I suggest upping the price of healing potions to 100, although i'm sure that will become pocket change in the higher levels, so it should increase accordingly as the levels progress.

Possible bug?

For some reason sometimes Rogan died a few time by taking ~19 damage (twice it was bleed damage) when he still had 30+ hp. it happened 3 times, the most annoying time was late in the final boss battle (still managed to win).
This 'may' have had something to do with the fact that i had "defend Ally" active on my character. Maybe full damage is done before reduction is factored in?
Was this intended or was it a bug?

Other than that, it was very nice. I played as warrior (battle/Discipline) and it seemed balanced enough. Fun enough game play to play it all the way through, but not sure about replay value. Only real let down is how many other similar games there are out there.
Definitely one of the better ones though.

Reminds me of Dragon Age Origins. It's very impressive for a flash game, it's not the greatest game I've ever played but as far as RPGs go it's very good. A pretty big problem I had was that while walking about your companions will occasionally talk to you, and the text box goes away or to the next part of their conversation if you click anywhere on it. While I walk I have to click very often, and more than a few times I've been walking south and have had a text box come out of nowhere and disappear because I accidentally clicked on it while walking. If you could make it so you only have to click a small portion of the text box I'm sure this problem will never happen.

is this based off of dragon age?
