It just feels so much better than the first Raze game.
Im glad that the majority of skins are unlockable, because it feels like youre actually earning it, and thats something that very few flash games can accomplish.
The graphics are so much better this time around too. Im assuming that this has a different game engine than the first game. the weapons actually feel different from one another this time around, thanks to new firing effects.
the environment detail is greatly improved, because of the widened color pallette.
I cant wait to see a third game, hopefully itll have online multiplayer.

I chose not to review this game until I completed it entirely. I've triumphed on the human campaign, achieved the secret levels, unlocked to my heart's desire, and mustered through the alien campaign. And this is my decree: It needs work.
I'm sure you've worked very hard on this, and I thank you. I had lots of fun playing this game and I continually found myself coming back. But this has room for improvement.
Your teammate's AI: I've noticed in a few alien levels, that my AI wasn't all that it should've been. I noticed that they wait a few seconds before they do something imperative, like capturing a zone and getting the flag. I realize this is to make the game harder, but I think you shouldn't make my team hinder me just so I get more of a challenge. In frozen death, they actually had the ability to kill me and they just drove down my team's score. But they do things right sometimes, like letting me get certain powerups and weapons. And that's saved my ass a few times.
Difficulty payoff: When it said that the alien campaign would be hard, I didn't think that would translate to "clusterfuck of difficulty which will steal your sanity." But I kind of liked it to be honest. It challenged me and gave me something to accomplish. But when I finally beat it, out of a combination of practice, skill, strategy, and luck, all I got was an ending video and 1000 credits. I could've easily achieved 1000 credits with a few quickmatches on "very easy." It left me disappointed. I think at the very least, I should gotten a new skin, a new weapon, equipment, ability, or even a new map at least. Something that hard should have a good payoff, and I wasn't satisfied by it.
Starting Weapons: I don't think it's fair that my opponents can start off with a rocket launcher and I'm left with a pistol. I think for a certain amount of credits, you should be able to upgrade the type of starting weapon you get.
Sound: I would like the ability to change volume on music and guns, not just turn them off and on. I like to put in my own music when playing, and the loudness of the shooting and SFX overpowers my music sometimes.
Some positive things-
Ending: SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT. I liked how you managed to save a part of the alien race on Earth. It leaves the possiblity of a third Raze game, which is where you can really improve.
Music: You have an ear music, I'll give you that. The songs really fit the gameplay, and Rose At Nightfall was the perfect epic showdown.
New features: I like the ability, equipment, new guns, pretty much everything you added to the game gave it a new feel, a better feel. It really gives me the ability to change something of my character if need be. And the multitude of skins, including ones of yourself and Addison were a nice bonus.
The feel: I don't what it is, but using and shooting in this game is smoother and easier. I'm not sure what you did, but keep it up.
Question-
What is the song that starts as soon as you click play and continues into the menu? I didn't find that one on the song list under file information. It's epic and I would very much like to have it on my computer. It eventually calms down into this electronic sounding techno ambient stuff, with a violin in the back giving a somber tone and then it builds up into the epic orchestra again.
All in all this is a very good game, but it still has room for improvement. I will continue to play it until Raze 3 comes out. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did.
