Mudcrabs
Something similar happened to me while I was soul farming some mudcrabs. First of all, I play on Master so they managed to kill me once (and I didn't save so I had to refarm all of them). Then after getting through most of them a second time, some crazy ass Redguard Boethiah Cultist, who chased me half an hour earlier, came up and one hit me from behind with a death sequence. I did save that time, about half an hour earlier... at least I got my revenge.
