Reviews for "Ninja and Blind Girl"

Bleh.

Lol @ the person who said "it's more like watching a movie"... Like, say, EVERY OTHER DEFENSE GAME???

But yeah, some real flaws:

- I was having a gas watching the little guys jump around the map like gerbils on cocaine after having set my ninjas to "aggro", only to find one of them CLEAR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP, staring off into the distance like a douche bag while the others FIGHT TO THEIR DEATH... You'd think they'd pay more attention if they were so aggro...

- Sometimes one of the ninjas would even stand directly behind another and watch him fight to his death, and only start attacking when the guy infront dies... But then again, sometimes they would both gang up on the "mob" like good little coked-up gerbils... Weird.

A little too grindy.

The graphics and sound/music was very well done but i found the gameplay a little too repetetive and grindy.
Not long after i started playing i found myself repeating the 3rd level over and over again.
This i wouldn't have minded as much if the game offered a little more interaction. If you ever plan on making a sequel you should consider removing the "coin-collecting" and adding some abilities for the little guys to use. Maybe some more spells as well :)

it's ok

It's ok.

Graphics are fine, so is the music and the controls.
The gameplay may be a bit repetative and encourages grinding, but it's still quite fun.

Biggest problem I see is the AI. The enemies seem to get assigned to the guards as soon as they enter the screen. That causes some trouble sometimes, as enemie simply pass by other guards an let them get to the girl without doing anything. This can result into 2 guards standing there watching, one guard running across the screen to get to an enemy that's freely hitting the girl.

It's okay...

It's nice and all that. Original. The graphics are okay. Sounds are nice too. The game play would have been nice if the ninjas weren't so hard to handle. Like most of the times, even though I set one of my ninjas on defensive, he kept on walking away from the blind girl and wouldn't even hit an enemy in front of him if my other ninja hasn't finished walking to another enemy from far away. You should really fix that part of the game. If the ninjas are just gonna stand around waiting until the other ninja kills an enemy at least let that ninja take the hit from oncoming enemies instead of the blind girl.

This is an alright game.

First off, you are just plummet into middle of things; we have no idea what exactly is the story. Questions arise like, "Why are the ninjas helping Annie?" "Why is Annie helping the ninjas?" "How did Annie become blind?" and so forth.

The graphics are good and the music fits the ninja feel of this game.

But the gameplay. The gameplay is very repetitive and encourages grinding (and I gave in). I found myself playing the same level over and over again to get the ninjas stronger, so that they won't die.

Some problems with some of the actions... when all ninjas were put on the aggressive side, most of the time was 2 ninjas fighting to the death while the other just picking out the last pieces. On defense, the ninjas sometimes didn't attack even as the enemy got close to it. The enemy passed through easily. It seems like only if they are near to the blind girl that they attack.

It especially needs something different though. This felt something new and something already done before at the same time. Add something new to every level (other than new enemies), especially something that involves interaction. The ninjas could use more abilities.

Overall, a potentially good game but lacks.
