Animation of the year.
I saw some of the original episodes of this series, but going into the movie, I had no idea it was a remake until I saw good ol' Kirbopher introduced. I have to say: this remake is looking spectacular so far! This episode has probably some of the best voice acting I've heard on Newgrounds in a while, and the writing is just as fantastic. Coupled with splendid animation, music and sound effects, this is nothing less than a commercial-grade production. (Definitely better than some of the garbage coming out on TV these days.)
The story is still sort of lame, with all the usual tropes and cliches in effect, but it's hard to complain when the effort behind its execution is so evident. If the next episodes remain at this caliber of quality, I might actually sit through the whole thing this time!
Really great work, guys. Epic remake is epic.
