Great concept game!
I really liked, but I really can't say more about it than what the reviewer just below me already did. I'll state again, however, that the main thing going for this game is the freedom, something you didn't get at, say, Ecco the Dolphin. And the atmosphere too was killer, making it menacing to go deeper into the ocean as the music suddenly fades and then grows hostile as the surface is respectively growing distant.

Amazing.
It's a great game even with the simplicity, but for some reason I'm having a problem with the progress saving. The first time I came back and played the game my progress was gone but I didn't think too much of it and started over until I was close to day 20 I believe. I came back again after doing something and let the game load but it happened again. Regardless it's still getting a 10 from me.

Just amazing [kindaspoiler]
I didn't expect the ending (although someone below me seemed to guess it).. I think it wrapped up the game excellently. (You aren't supposed to win, are you? I think that shock factor is supposed to get you..) I found the general fishing fun, but I think the little plot you had going with the diaries and then the end just made it shine. The other aspects I really enjoyed were the graphics designs and the varying aspects of color and music as you went deeper...

rally fun game....but read the title XD
The range is the biggest difference. When you get the harpoon, the bolt is probably already upgraded a bit, so it can seem pretty weak. Once you've got them both upgraded, though, they're both extremely useful in different situations.
I spended a lot of time with this game , pretty fun ! 5/5
