Reviews for "The Lance!"

Is it just me or...?

I cannt play this game. I got a white screen, with a bar to toggle the quality.
Im using Internet Explorer.

weak in too many places...

ok, so the horses are cute. gameplay is ok, but tedious after awhile. And the gold gather rate is waaayyyy too slow. Only if you're a gear freak would you bother going through tedious and alomst endlessly repetitve jousts to earn enough for the top gear. For this reason i give this game a 1, for the graphics and interest (and knightly jousting) I give it a 6. 6 minus 1 =5... and even that might be too high.. Yeah, you can beat the champion even at lvl2...

Spoiler: Earning cash is the way to go, and its hard. If you're playing longer than round 2 then gear rules more than exp i think. To get max gold i think its best not to run your horse at all (no clicks, 0mph) and aim far from the enemy. Then at last second move to his weakest armour point and score a hit. Then your horse runs the entire field and collects at least 220gold. Exp suffers but you get money for harder hitting lances and stronger armour.

Summary: more/better gold earning (even the gold++ gear doesnt seem to make a difference).

Pros: Horse are cute, I like the way the ears move :)

Fine

It could be better but still its a fine game for like twenty minutes then you just want to shoot someone!

Too Time Consuming And Not Rewarding

There Should Be Awards Available For Mastery Of All Equipment And Hitting Level 25 Considering It Takes Nearly An Entire Day To Do It.

There Should Be A System In Place For Defense Just As There Is For Offense. This Game Requires Very Little Skill And Takes Too Long To Get Anything Out Of It.

okay

It's a fun game, it just takes way too long to save up money for good equipment. Also, the biggest problem i had, was the jousting rules. Jousting in tournaments doesn't involve doing damage to your opponent, it all has to do with breaking your lance on an opponent and a point system.
