Reviews for "Community College Sim"

not diverse enough

its so simple at the moment, another stat perhaps, get a gf, idk more meat, i never once did the janitors job, mainly did stuff on the message board, also if you exit the message board and return, if theres a message up that day, it will change, so you can change them to get the stats you want, also it really doesnt have any replay value, i got 1083, and im guessing thats pretty good

This game is quite enjoyable. When I first started playing, it was easy to get immersed within the world presented in it. The characters seemed interesting and the art style was nice. I like the characters that you could talk to for the sake of talking to who always had new things to say. The concept of the game itself was rather interesting, seeing as the player had to balance out his social and academic lives. The music was nice enough for me and never seemed to get too repetitive, but I would recommend making multiple tracks for future games. After a while, the text does get a bit repetitive. The girl who gives you +3 social points is nothing but a tool to advance your social life, and the text for her never transcends beyond awkward conversation. The random events inevitably repeat after a while, and there was one case when the event gave me two options, and when I picked one, it gave me the negative response to an entirely different question. The jobs and clubs are good ideas, but it would be more interesting if they were permanent and didn't go away the next day. All in all, most of my suggestions for improvement spawn from the fact that I wish this game were longer. If you had more than 100 days to befriend characters, improve skills, and get money, that would be great. For a short game, this worked out pretty well, I suppose. I would just recommend a longer game with the possibility of character companionship in future simulators, if you ever make any more (which I hope you do!). Good job, dude! It was a fun hour spent playing this.

Thanks for the elaborate feedback! My biggest regret actually is not giving the girl who you have awkward conversations with more dialog haha. I'll definitely keep in mind your comments if I work on a sequel.

I thought the game was pretty decent but it became repetitive near the end. Although I did enjoy myself while playing this

Has some bugs.

Apparently, the real moral here is "winners do drugs", because you can just save up and drop your entire wallet into +social and +intelligence drugs on the very last day and get an astronomical score and the best ending from that, and that alone.

Matter of fact, statistically, you shouldn't be spending your money on anything else since the game is only 100 days and the +1 boosts aren't worth the offset of money.

The game can be better, it just looks like it sets you up for failure.
