advice
the perfect combination of fantasy toys is to have 2 books to click one near the other then make a link of defence of slime catapult then try to put as many digger as you can on each row...in these way no phantom or boogie man will hurt you and no flying monster will hurt you...and ocassional put some exploding babys:D

Awesome game! But 13 level very difficult! Can't go it! Help anybody!
When I personally tested and passed (also quite easily at Nightmare difficulty), I used:
8 Slots unlocked:
Illustrated Book, Slime Catapult, Miner, Double Dino, Smart Alien, Kamikaze Bear, Baby Boom, Toy Car (or DollHouse, as you prefer based on your strategy)
Column 1, 6 Illustrated Books
Column 2, 6 Slime Catapults (upgrade to buy)
Column 3, 6 Miners
Column 4, 6 Double Dino (against Skeletons)
Column 8, all Kamikaze bears you can.
If you are able to well balance your fantasy you could be able to place even 2 Smart Alien (positioned in lines 2 and 5 they shoot on all 6 lines!).
Then BabyBoom and Toy car (or DOllhouse) at need.
Each one of our developer team has his own personal different strategy.
What I can grant is that I passed level 13 and 14 as above suggested ;)

A nice job well done on this parody. Looking for a sequel although I'm not sure if there is a PvZ sequel.
Overall, nice graphics, music and storytelling. You got my 10s.
But here's what I'm thinking for you to plan for your sequel, if you're going to make it. Some of them suit well for the girls.
1. The character, not just a boy, how about a girl too? Each gender will have their own strengths and weaknesses.
2. The dollhouse, it's more of a girl's toy. The boy should use some sort of a Portal-related device that will replace the dollhouse.
3. Unicorn from My Little Pony, a girl version of the Hungry Dino. Vulnerable when charging the horn's power.
4. Blossom from Powerpuff Girls, girl version of the Slimy Frog.
5. Change the visual of the Witch to a real ugly witch, this one looks more like a wizard.
6. Challenge modes just like in PvZ did?
7. Achievement menu so you can see your own achievements when you're hosting the game in other game sites like Kongregate or ArmorGames.
