A Crabs Blood is Blue!

Symphonic Tower Defense, and Army of ages are two well thought out games that I have played recently here on Newgrounds in the last month or so, this sadly isn't like either of them. I feel that people do a disservice to game makers who spend a lot of time creating well though out games, and rank this as a 9.0/10. I was looking for a 9/10 game to play and review tonight, so my apologies for the following.

Everything works for the most part, so that helps out a lot. I found that aiming was off at times, especially during the starfish level. Maybe it was the fact that they would do damage once they got close to the ship, but not actually touch it that was the problem, but numerous times they would be shot, but still did damage to the ship. Other units were the same way. The blood was just pointless, for one thing it just made it hard to see the crabs climbing up the side of the ship, but on accuracy note, crabs have blue blood, not red.

The voices were ok, but quickly wore thin quickly, much like each level. Nothing really changed from one level to the next. There were no upgrades, there was only one song, each level ended with a little voice over and then the same cut screen. With the exception of the one new unit, everything was exactly as the same as the previous level.

The moving unit really didn't make much sense either. Granted I could move closer to get a better shot at things, but the few things that were difficult to hit moved too fast for moving closer to benefit me. It's not like the the guy was the thing that was being protected, it was the ship, so a locked unit would of worked just as well and had the control arrows be used for something more beneficial to the game. Maybe something like a rock the ship to knock some of the units off, you rock it too many times and it sinks, who knows.

Again, it was a mildly entertaining game, but there was no depth, the graphics were weak, and it was carried by a 3 seconds worth of someone saying octopus. Hardly compares to the work that goes into some of the games here.

Gay.

Don't believe all this shitards below me. They trying to mess with you. Dumbest game ever..and btw, you're voice acting sounds like you're trying to stick a cucumber inside ur ass.
