A great twist to the original golf game

This definitely has to be one of the nicest games I've seen. I'm not a great fan of golf, even though I do not dislike it, but this "interpretation" is so appealing!
Judging from some of the scenario's elements - say, the impossible waterfall" - I caught some slight references to M.C. Escher's style (anybody who know this man will remember some of his surreal works, like two hands drawing each other, optic illusions, and such). I definitely liked them. I don't know if the game's author had that in mind when building the enviroment, but still... great work.

Review No.2

I actually put the first review on here, lol, now it's got no meaning :P

Original review:

"Wonderful

This is beautiful. This might possibly be the best golf game that's ever made. By itself, a golf game is kinda challenging, but usually boring. You combined that challenging part with beautiful and exciting artwork. In a way, it reminds me of the grow-installments by Eyezmaze, but with surrealism and the fun of a golf game. Believe me, there is no way that this game does not deserve the top rating. It's just too wonderful for anything less.

What I did forget to praise was your animation skills, because their awesome and I forgot to praise your creativity in a specific way.
1st hole: Right at the start, the player gets to see both a beautiful world/landscape and your animation skills with the meteors, wich is great.
2nd - 5th hole: It's amazing to see the creative and realistic way in wich you changed the landscape.
6th - 7th hole: These holes kinda give the game a structure, as in that it needs to break the ice to continue.
9th - 10th: I loved the idea of skipping over the water, it's a really creative thing.
11th hole: MC Escher. That's all I need to say. Just perfect.
12th - 17th hole: These holes gave me a mixture of ideas, considering the change since the 12th hole is so big. The skull reminded me of old dungeons and the stonehenge style also gave me a idea of ancient times. But from there it goes to a industrial/modern building, so it confused me. I did enjoy the turtle <3
18th hole: Looking back at the previous holes, it looks like you're showing a past - present - future style.

In overall, I still think that it's very creative and my score remains the same, because it's so amazing.

Great Golf Game

There are so many terrible mini golf games out there that I expected this one to be bad too. Once I started playing I loved it. Its a game, its a story, its just plain old fun. I gave you a 9/10 because the rainbow waterfall hole is my nemesis. I have yet to complete it in under 12 strokes.

Reposting Unfairly Deleted Review

As with ChromoNomad, my review was also removed so I am posting it again so here it is:

I got 3 albatrosses (including 2 hole in ones) as well as a birdie and an eagle. However, all bragging aside, it is one of the most unique games I have ever played with good graphics and transitions. 10/10 and 5/5

Review, Take 2

Edit: Due to a highly unfortunate and rather annoying moderator hack, I am copy/pasting my initial review that was removed. It's nice to know that users can't actually be banned for leaving a complimentary review. :P

This has got to be simply one of the coolest putting games that I have ever played. Between the artistic style, incredible graphics, and fun animations it's more like a miniature self-contained world than a game.

There was obviously a lot of pre-production design work done for this, and it really shows when playing the finished product. As much fun as it was to play the first time, then you add something new for subsequent plays! That's just plain impressive, and I have currently played the game five times just to improve my score and successfully complete the additional content. My only gripe is that there are no Newgrounds medals. I know, I know...go play it on Kongregate, right? Ah, well.

Thanks for making such an incredible game! I will quite likely be back for more soon enough.
