Yes you are quite right as well, Ed only loses his arm when he transmutes Al's soul to the suit of armour.
I'd forgotten the old theme tune to the original series as well... have to say though, completely irrelevent anime chat warning... FMA - Brotherhood is MASSIVELY better than the original series.

so in this series they would be trying to get their original bodies back by like math tournaments and what not in order to get their bodies back
and also i hate sigma a lot, the sight of it makes me filled with rage ahh

Although I expected Dividing by Zero, it was still funny to see. Would have liked to see audio and narration during the "Mathematical Equations", but it's cuteness overcomes it.
I also find it fairly creepy this Flash apeares not two days After I finish the Anime. Creeptastic.
