Reviews for "Pwanchi Burger Episode 1"

Im sorry, I just didn't like it

You guys are just not funny.

Tries to hard

You guys have some potential but I think you try to hard to be funny. Try to think jokes out some more and put less jokes but with better quality

its already bin said

not bad i mean its bin clock day so u havnt had much to compete with but comedy was 1 dimensional ( i know i cant spell) i can kinda guess that the next episode will be exaley the same with no suprises there for no luaghs for me get back to the drawing board and make me a fucking burger

Unexpected

Despite how basic the characters and set ups are, I was surprised how funny it actually was.
It shows that something doesn't need to have a lot of depth or be unpreditable in order to still be funny.

Write characters, not archetypes.

Firstly, if you can't write characters beyond the asshole, the stupid one, the racist depiction of an ethnic character, and the gamer, then you're going to have a hard time writing comedy. Characters need more than one trait, or they become predictable and boring fast.

Second of all, the premise should not be so stupid and unbelievable that you have characters poking huge holes in it in the first episode. Of course a restaurant would just fire the useless group because it's easy to replace fast food staff. You either need a really good reason to have the characters be "unfire-able" or you need to make them less obviously awful.

My suggestion would be watch Waiting and Clerks 2. Not only are they good movies, but they might give you some tips on how to do a premise like this well. Better luck next time.
