WHAT IS GOING ON
This is like the definition of awesome. I clicked play and was immediately thrust into a pit fight with a hundred robots who wouldn't. Stop. Exploding.

for me it's all about the explosions - like I said in my initial comments that may have been to the detriment of other gameplay aspects, but I think it can look great if you just lean back and enjoy the fireworks.
Robotron 2084 lives again
R2084 is one of my favs. I like this version with all the cute robot icons. Also, this game is about having fun, which is what video games are supposed to be about, anyway!

yeah, simple shmup fun - I'm a bit slow myself so I find games requiring too much thinking give me a headache...I'm glad you mentioned the robot-sprites 'cuz graphic design isn't my strongest skill so I had to put a lot of effort into making all of those robo-buggers - now that really did give me a headache.
Decent
I like it its a bit easy but I believe its pretty good I think maybe make another one improve on it and u'll have a great game :D

thats pretty much how I feel about it - it ain't great but it looks good at times, so hopefully I can take the good bits and improve upon them in my next game.
It's a decent game
The strongest point in this game is probably how elaborate the colors and artwork are. At times, it did look a little cheesy. It just kind of reminds me of the early 90's when CGi shows weren't of the best quality. Oddly enough, looking back, it seems like the animated movies that used that were just as good. What was cool was how there a lot of different kinds of enemies to kill. There was a good amount of effort put into their designs.
The music was good. My only problem was that it was fairly hard, especially when you were using a laptop, like I was. Oh well, I guess that's something I'll just have to get used to. I liked it how you could basically just fire randomly and hit targets as there were so many of them. It may not be the most technologically advanced game, but it's worth a play.
Ehh, not that Entertaining.
By the second level i was already bored. There needs to have more weapons and other stuff! But good job none the less! 3/5 <3 Keep doing what your doing bro!

more weapons would have been good for sure, but that would have taken a lot more work and I was already running past my self imposed deadline (I wanted to release this on Robot Day). I recognise that the gameplay is fairly repetitive and claustrophobic, however I like the fact that it still plays fairly similar to the original Robotron - I mean it is supposed to be some kind of tribute.
Anyway I'm glad you liked it enough to give me a 3/5 & 7/10 - I would have been a lot more gutted with a 2/5!
