Guess I'm the only who sees some issues, but... A mix of tower defense and another genre (such as shooter) tends to be underwhelming, and forces the player to focus on one thing or another. Dungeon Defenders got the blend just right; this game did not. The Xeno Gears style TD (using towers to create paths that enemies had to go through) was ruined by a lot of the "hazardous Environment". The towers themselves were completely generic. I get that it's hard to be creative in a tower defense, but you could avoid using the most basic towers in existence. As for the shooter part... it was just meh. There are other games on NG that do the "Robot-Shooter" a lot better, probably because they focus on shooting, not tower defense. That's all I got to say.
