Does upgrading the weapon that the partner use have any effect? Cause I couldn't figure out whether or not to upgrade them or not. I wound up not upping them until after I upped my own weapon to max.

It sure does, but the coop shooter needs to level up some times to get good with it.

I can't see why people are getting their panties in a twist over the zombies being potheads. It's a game, you're supposed to be playing it not thinking of the implications of it.
Yes though, very fun game! I personally liked the art, was simple and cartoonish and had a light hearted feel to it while I was blowing apart zombies with the gatling gun! I absolutely loved the music too. Only beef I can say is like some others that it was a bit short seeming.

my only concern was that when i equipped my partner with a assault rifle it would fire one round like a pistol, but still fun
Back in 2011, I played this game from when it came out recently and this year I played again and it seems that I did not understand anything about mechanics and today I play again.
But yes, the music is great, because I like how the retro style of music is very, very good!!!
