Reviews for "License to Combo 2"

this was okay

i mean, seriously... people have this fixiation on unrealistic speeds, i bet you would be nothing without your power, try fighting fairly and see how long you would last
*takes your powers away*

otherwise, good animation, good music, okay moves... but overall... kinda cleche, nothing new

fail

the first one was a fucking fail he is getting sliced alot and well he does not fall apart

Nhazul responds:

Ok, Mr. Realist. Obviously you have never read a fiction book, or watched a single cartoon in your life, as you only accept realism. I live for this stuff. Thanks for the useless review my friend!

OMG

did you see that part where that one guy hit that other guy?

Awesome.

A bit... Disappointing

I would ask people to go back to Liscense to Combo 1, and it's Revamp.

The animation there is smoother, but they both have the same problem, save for the Revamp which actually got people doing a different kind of combo, that wasn't slow, delayed power strikes, since they actually got in the impressive fast combos.

There is VERY little variation. VERY LITTLE. As they always say, variety is the spice of life, and this animation lacks any spice. When I was done it felt like I was looking at the same thing over and over again. I felt that there was absolutely no variation. Not that I'm saying it's all the same, it's that it's kinda the same over and over again.

You say you like stylish brutal action, okay. Sure, it's fine to have some of it, but to have ONLY that, is a bit stale. I suggest researching faster combos, new ways to combo, other than just fist and kicks. I'm looking around Newgrounds, and I'm just thinking to myself. If all the stickfighting knowledge were to come together, that is, knowledge on stickfighting with swords, guns, spears, tridents, halberds, whips, flail maces, thunder, fire, ice magic, summoning swords.

Look, just be CREATIVE, as CREATIVE as possible. That is the only thing people have going for them when doing something as repetitive as stickfighting. It becomes about HOW you're doing it. Okay, you have brutal down, now try something else. Fast? Neutral-play (comboing WITHOUT moving from the spot)? Caster? Timing based? There is a lot you can do, yet I'm not seeing it being tried.

It was eh

It had some nice fights but the end fight with the stick that actually could fight back ended quickly a bit too quickly if you ask me this guy who had no problem fighting back now wets his pats and lets him grab his face because he walks slow? Omgitsgrim is right and obviously never have you because even cartoons show some effect of the attack and books describe whats happened and it is inconsistent with the last move because your stick slashed him in half 20 times with no effect but at the end his sword finally shows noticeable damage beyond what I assumed was bludgeoning
