You got music, artwork, and infrastructure.
You don't got the story's touch.
It looks as if you have the plot all worked out and everything in place (then again, that's what all artists want their watchers to think), but this trailer simply did not express. Yeah, there's faces carrying expressions, but what was done to make those expressions? What's the story? To my understanding a trailer is suppose to grab and awe, to make one gasp and feel.
Monologue could of helped.
But I think you were trying to get a unspoken desire across.
Have a physical action done either to incite or hurt another (a man shaking his head and turning his back on a woman ((of the same age)) ), then have that other react in whatever way you want (the woman's hand grabbing a silver gun in a tear-stained shirt).
That's an example of getting something through. The result of it is the watcher actually knowing what is going on, rather then bending brows over a mess of colors and downcast lines in order to unfurl a unseen message.
