Reviews for "FAUX - trailer"

I would watch this!

okay if you bring this out...i will watch it!
I mean it looks good but maybe you could have "shown" some voice acting.

I haven't really seen the series before...

but the trailer really makes want to. :D

Mindblowing

There is so much love and work in this. Can't wait to see more! It blew my mind how much work was put into this just by looking at everything: seems like a ton of development took place. Excellent work.

Bladerunner meets Ultraviolet

...With extra awesome infused.
Looking forward to the continuation!

Well Done!

There was one review before this one that simply noted that this video was a compilation of moving pictures. Anyone else who watched this video would agree with that. I myself enjoy watching videos with some real animation. But after watching this video several times, I find that the moving pictures were well suited. In other words, I like it anyway.

Your intro was great. Suspenseful, mysterious, and introduced the protagonist right there. There were some soldier angst, and conflicts with hinted romance. I particularly enjoyed the part where this man with the top hat in the shadows appeared. It was very cool and dark. Another notable scene was when there was some actual animation with the two women (girls?) fighting each other. I rather enjoyed that.

For the drawing, I'm not a huge, huge fan of the style. This is a heavy western drawing style influenced by anime, but I prefer the actual anime style. To each their own, eh? I also liked the expressions from picture to picture. They help carry what you are trying to show in that short amount of time. Also, the various things occurring such as soldiers, flying ships, guns, blood, etc. were very interesting. I'm going to check out the three episodes after this (even though you said you were going to replace them).

Another thing I want to say was that you chose an excellent soundtrack. I don't know the author, but I'm a huge fan of trailer music, and it was perfect for this video. I was enthralled by the moment the blond girl appeared in the beginning for that one moment (just right before the bar appeared). The climax was exciting, because the choir entry helped escalated that moment. You've mixed the ending of the video smoothly with the ending of the soundtrack.

So to wrap up: great pictures, fantastic music and very interesting plotline. I'm looking forward to your remakes. Can't wait!
