Outstanding illustration, i know animation is not your main thing, but the squash and stretch u did doesn't look really good.
Fantastic art
You have some amazing art and unique direction, i was a little disappointed with the first half of the trailer though. I understood it was a motion comic but it started off seeming very tween based which worked for some shots, but was a tad painful to see in others, but then as it built up towards a climactic ending i saw lots more examples of frame by frame animation and some great lighting effects beginning to peer through.
I wish you luck with the project and hope you can find a healthy level of animation for your motion comic!
Great Improvement
I've gotta say off the bat that this trailer alone is a huge step forward from you're original ones. The old flashes were well executed in story, keeping me from clicking away and all that good jazz, but they were held back by animation that was great here and "ehh" there. Already the characters seem better shaded, colored, presented. (I always had a problem with the way Jan's lips looked, but they're much better now) I can see you're using a very different type of drawing style here and that probably presents a bigger challenge for you, but when you succeed, you REALLY succeed. So, in short, :D
All it was was panels from your comic
That you decided to tween, most of the time it wasn't even anything special and sometimes it reached the point of straight up laughable.
